pantry suppers is a strand of our programme at aerial that focuses on bringing people together and food. each dinner is designed, curated and hosted by an invited artist and all the proceeds go towards a specific cause, also chosen by the invited artist. the artists-come-chefs are invited to raid the aerial pantry and curate a delicious feast, championing what is left in our cupboard and striving towards zero waste.
the pantry supper in august will be hosted by artist, fergus tibbs! fergus is the one who actually designed and built the kitchen at aerial, which has become the heart and soul of aerial over the last two years. we are super happy that he accepted our invitation to host a pantry supper! at the heart of fergus´s practice is a need to gather people. his projects experiment with different ways of making this happen, through using music, conversations, club nights, interventions and of course food!
join us for a three course feast designed, cooked and hosted by fergus on friday 11 august. all the financial proceeds will be used in a new project by fergus: a funding body that will award micro grants to projects in bergen using an oral application system. more information about this will be disclosed at the dinner!
aerial is a tiny space, so this dinner has limited seats.
